The 4th Congress of Members of the Rilai Company Union was successfully held.

1 In the afternoon of the 13th, the 4th Congress of Members of the Rilai Company’s Trade Union was successfully held in the company’s conference room on the fourth floor. Members of the company’s Party and administrative leadership team and 45 trade union member representatives attended the meeting. Du Songsong, Secretary of the company’s Party branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, also attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the conference systematically summarized the major achievements and experiences of trade union work over the past five years, scientifically assessed the new situation and new requirements currently facing us, clearly defined the overall guiding principles and key tasks for trade union work over the next five years, and elected a new-term Trade Union Committee and a Finance Review Committee.
Entrusted by the 3rd Committee of the company’s trade union, Deputy General Manager Zhang Luan delivered a work report to the congress entitled “Unite Hearts and Pool Strength to Promote Development, Fulfill Duties and Strive for New Achievements, and Rally and Mobilize All Employees to Make Further Contributions Toward Realizing the Development Goals of the 15th Five-Year Plan.” The report comprehensively reviewed the positive achievements made by the trade union in strengthening ideological guidance for employees, serving enterprise development, safeguarding workers’ rights and interests, and enriching cultural life. Moreover, in alignment with the enterprise’s 15th Five-Year Plan, the report laid out specific plans for the trade union’s work over the next five years.
In his speech, Du Songsong, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the company, gave full recognition to the work of the previous trade union committee and put forward four hopes for the new trade union committee: First, we must uphold the correct political direction and demonstrate new achievements in strengthening ideological and political guidance; second, we must closely focus on the central tasks and serve the overall situation, creating new accomplishments in organizing employees to make contributions and achieve success; third, we must firmly keep in mind our mission of serving employees and attain new results in safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests; fourth, we must deepen reform and innovation to achieve new improvements in strengthening the trade union’s own development.
The conference called upon the trade union organizations at both levels of the company to always stay firmly committed to the correct political direction, closely align with the overall goal of the company’s reform and development, fully perform all trade union functions, unite and mobilize the broad workforce to build consensus, take on responsibilities with practical actions, and conscientiously fulfill their duties. We must continuously enhance the trade union organizations’ political leadership, precise service capabilities, and ability to rally the masses, thereby contributing new and greater strength to the company’s successful achievement of its “15th Five-Year” development goals and to vigorously forging a new chapter of high-quality development!
