At a time when the 20th CPC National Congress is about to be held, on the morning of October 14, the party branch of the organ organized party members and cadres to go to the memorial hall of the first Party Congress in Tongling County to carry out the red education activity of "welcoming the 20th CPC National Congress, always following the party, and striving for a new journey. In July 1939, the first party member congress of Tongling County of the Communist Party of China was held at the Zhoushi Primary School in Xinwuling, Fenghuangshan. More than 50 party representatives attended the meeting. The congress formally elected the Tongling County Committee of the Communist Party of China. The convening of the first party congress in Tongling County effectively promoted the construction and development of the Tongling party organization, set off a new upsurge in the armed anti-Japanese struggle and revolutionary construction behind enemy lines in Tongling area, and laid a solid foundation for promoting the victory of the Tongling people in the War of Resistance Against Japan.
