To cope with the recent days of intense heat and ensure the physical and mental health of employees as well as production safety, Ruilai Company has scientifically planned and implemented heat-prevention and cooling measures tailored to actual production conditions. With “robust” initiatives and heartfelt care, the company has built a strong “safety barrier” for its employees, guaranteeing the safety of both personnel and equipment throughout the summer.
First, strengthen safety education. Conduct training on heat prevention and cooling knowledge for employees through various formats, such as pre- and post-shift meetings, safety study sessions, and production scheduling meetings. Organize and carry out drills on first aid for heatstroke among personnel to enhance employees’ self-protection awareness and emergency response capabilities. Second, improve the hardware facilities. The organizing personnel conducted a special inspection of air conditioners, electric fans, axial-flow fans, and other heat-prevention and cooling facilities at all production posts. They promptly replaced or repaired cooling equipment, improved working conditions in high-temperature environments, and ensured an adequate supply of heat-relief and cooling medications. Third, optimize homework time. Dynamically adjust the time periods for high-temperature work at the front lines, implement staggered work schedules during peak heat hours, and adopt a “work at both ends, rest in the middle” approach to ensure the physical health and safety of employees. Fourth, strengthen supervision and inspection. We conducted special inspections focusing on the operation of cooling equipment, pharmaceutical reserves, job site patrols, and safe production, and required immediate rectification of any identified hazards on-site within a specified timeframe. At the same time, we launched a special survey on heat prevention and cooling measures, carefully listening to employees’ suggestions and requests to identify and address any gaps or shortcomings in our future safety production efforts. Fifth, show care and warmth to employees. Actively carry out “Cooling Delivery” care activities at workstations, distributing cooling and heat-relief supplies such as salt-flavored soda, mineral water, mung beans, and rock sugar to employees, ensuring they feel “cool” on their bodies and “warm” in their hearts.
